I am not someone who buys or even owns any item of clothes that are white! Due to my ability to spill anything down my chest! However I was in New Look and spotted this Tuxedo style shirt in the Sale rack for £9 and thought I would give it a go. I love when you can see a bra through a shirt and I think I will wear a black bra next time I wear this. The belt I feel gives me a more finished look and the black and white patent shoes were made for this outfit! Black & White is never a bad combo. Leggings are my best friends when it comes to trousers. I am a shorty and I hate ironing so suit trousers are always too long and wide legged. As long as I wear thick leggings with a short top I feel its fine. When you can see your pants through the material its not such a good look. Which is when a longer top comes in good. I kept this outfit simple with no jewellery as its quite a statement on its own without my large funky jewels complicating the look.
I realize I have been posting almost everyday and it is a bit much so I will try to post every other day from now on.

Please excuse the wet hair! I had just got out the shower. This is a Vest I got at the Plus Sized Clothes Swap on Sunday in Leeds (see previous posts) I noticed that I dont have many summer clothes in my wardrobe so this vest is perfect and was FREE! I have teamed it with a leopard skirt I got from New Look Inspire £7 sale size 26 and the Bow Belt is from Simply Yours £16. Shoes also New Look Sale £6 and Leather Bag £19.99 ebay.
For when it gets a little chilly a shrug is perfect and for those who are not happy showing their legs or gets chub rub leggings solve that problem! For vests and tops that are a little short because of big boobs or belly, pulling a skirt up from waist to under bust can make a great alternative. For me this is actually the best place for a belt as I have a double belly not a round one. The belt just finishes off the outfit and makes it a bit smarter. More Plus Sized Clothes Swap finds to come!

I was lucky enough to find out about this event and was really excited to be going to something that was for FAT people and knowing that there would be things there that would fit me! For FREE!!!!
I had looked out a bag of items to take and swap. Mostly things too small for me or I didnt like the fit on me. All in good condition or new. I got the rain from Sheffield to Leeds which cost £10 and little more than 40mins. Found the venue only 10mins walk from the station thanks to Google maps. I got there about 1.10pm and found there was already a good amount of people there and lots of clothes on tables and hung up. I was shown around and told where to put things and then got looking through everyhting for things I thought would fit and I wanted to try on. It has to be said I tried on about 5 armfulls of clothes! Which some might think as a total nightmare from going shopping and standing in fitting rooms but this wasnt stressfull and I was in no rush.
To the left of the picture you can see where two sewing machines were set up and alterations were done for people if they needed it. This was a great idea!
To the right and below is a table of FAT friendly books and zines which were provided to look through. I found this really interesting and had a quick look through. There were lots that I hadnt heard of and will be looking into now.
I found this picture in one of the magazines and loved its boldness so had to photograph it to share!
This is the cafe joined on to the rooms used for the Swap. I purchased a few cups of tea at 50p each and these amazing and yummy cupcakes were on offer for a donation
On the back wall behind my cup of tea you will see a poster for free books! A lovely lady had brought a load for people to take home and keep or pass them on.
This is my bag full to busting of all the lovely items I picked up at the Swap. You will be seeing them all in future Blog Posts but here a few sneaky pics
When I saw this belt I made a little squee noise! It is sooo Minnie Mouse which is sooo Me! I love it!
Thank you to the person who donated it and made me a very happy girl! Thanks also to everyone involved in making this event possible and such a FAT positive enviroment. I look forward to more events like this and hope this inspires people to do something like it in their area!
This is a New dress from New Look Inspire £24.99 and I love it! Its black and white instead of the normal blue and white stripes seen everywhere for the nautical theme. It is has no sleeves so can be worn casual for summer days or with a bolero like I have for the sunny but not so warm days. Teamed with my Skull scarf form River Island and New Polka Dot bag from Primark £7. Its stretchy and comfortable and I love how the stipes are put together in different directions. I especially like aroung the neck! For some reason It reminds me of rock candy sticks! I will be wearing this dress a lot this summer and wore it to the Plus Size Clothes Swap in Leeds which I will post about soon. Hopefully it washes well and doesn't fade! Keep you posted!
This is a different take on the skater dress. More of a casual thing. I have terrible trouble with shoes being too narrow and always getting blisters from new shoes! Before Christmas I was scouring the shops and internet for a pair of winter boots. Worried that the snow would be bad! ha! Anyways I came across a brand named Hotter which was new to me and most of their stuff seems to be for the older generations but I spotted two pairs of boots that interested me. I opted for the ancle boot with buckes for my fat ancles and figured they would be best for me. They cost £60 which I grudged paying at the time but has turned out to be a great investment! They are wide fitting and the insoles are super comfy plus NO blisters!!!! I couldnt believe it but I swear its true! They also come in half sizes. The only problem I had was stupidly I wore them without socks on a hot day and they started to rub as my feet swelled and got sweaty! Gross sorry but honesty is all part of the service!
Check here for Hotter boots, shoes and bags available. Expensive but comfy!

The war between my wallet and all the pretty clothes in my size available at Simply Be can get a girl down. However its lovely to see such nice designs for fat girls. These are some of my favourites from the NEW Simply Be catalogue. I will be posting Swimwear soon too!
I really really really need to get a black Skater dress and Red Jeans!!!!
NEW Shoes, Bag & Novelty Glasses all from Primark! I love Primark from accessories and can get away with their mens size xl tshirts but their clothes are all too small which is annoying because they have great up to date fashions and at prices I am happy to pay. Please Primark make your clothes in larger sizes!!!!
Polka Dot Shoes with heel Wide Fit £10
OOTD You can never have too many Polka Dots!
Bag £7 and Novelty Glasses £1 This bag is a bargain and Iwill get lots of use out of it!
Glasses are just because I love funky ones and collect them!
After seeing Stephanie Zwicky in this dress I had to have it. It was sold out at my local New Look so checked online. Thankfully they had a 24 so I snapped it up quick. It is a silky material with a little sheen and very light weight. Hoping it washes well and needs little ironing! Its a fun dress that can be dressed up or down. It reminded me of tv interference which I loved.
I paired it with the Bow belt from Simply Yours £16 and my new mini Leather Satchel from ebay £19.99. Wonder Woman necklace from Afflecks Palace Manchester £8 and New Look Wide fit Green Leather flats Igot in a sale for £6.
I think I need to invest in some more belts! Maybe a red and brown and also some summer sandles!
Let the sun shine long and bright this summer!

I LOVE Skater Dresses!!!! This is the Navy version of the Green I posted about earlier. From New Look Inspire £24.99 or £10 in their SALE. The sailor stretch belt is from Matalan £4. Bag Ebay. Shoes Clarks. Necklace is a Pop Art Style Plastic Splat I posted about earlier from Afflecks Palace in Manchester £8. Its getting warmer out and time to show the legs again. Not that they ever tan! Being Scottish I have ghostly white skin and tent to burn not tan. I am not someone who fake tans. Orange is not a good look! This dress is so versatile and can be jazzed up with just a change of colour in accessories. Fun and Funky is my style and I hope you are inspired to try some new accessories.
Recently I purchased 4 new pairs of undies from Yours Clothing. They were on a deal £6 each or 2 for £10. I waited to do a review until they had been throught the wash as I have found with some (from Evans and Asda) that once they have been washed the elastic seems to fall apart! Anyways they held up very well with print and shape staying in tact! All in all a good 10/10

After a night on the town for St Patricks Day I have decided today shall be a tshirt kinda day!
I have these days usually at the weekend when I dont feel like being glam and just want to snuggle up to a warn body on the couch and watch movies or catch up on my american tv shows. I sterted getting glam by putting my make up on then gave in to the ever so comfy Batman tshirt from Asda £6 size xxl mens. Leggings and Ugg like boots. I would never spend the money for real Uggs but I do buy real sheepskin ones as they keep my toes warm in winter. The best house slippers EVER!!!
Hope everyone is recoving well from last nights antics!

These are 2 items out of a christmas set from Boots. It all came in a big petty make up case. I have never tried any of the Ted Baker beauty products but the smell of the Body Spray is everything good about Summer so thought I would give it a go :)
The body scrub is the BEST I have ever used! It is super thick and has very small particles which I always feel work better. It is also an oil based scub which leaves skin feeling really soft and moisturised. Two big surprise beauty items I am happy I tried and will keep my eyes peeled to see in stores.
Ihope everyone has a lovely weekend and i look forward to posting pictures of my outfit from tonight party and St Patricks Day celebrations!
As the weather has been a little warmer I wore this flower print top I got from TKMaxx £12 with leggins and red patent peeptoe sligbacks from Clarks £20 Which allowed me to add my gorgeous patent red lips bag!!! Available from ebay around £25
