Excuse the poor quality pictures. I am at my parents and using my phone to do this these posts. You get the idea. This is the dress I blogged about previously. It is the same dress available at New Look but I got it from an ebay shop for much cheaper. The shoes are old New Look and you may have seen them in black too in other posts. My new glasses from Lensway arrived and I love them! It is way too hot outside for this dress but I had to wear it because its so cute! Love the button detail and means I don't need to wear a belt.
Really!! Why put a huge ugly zip on the back of this lovely dress and others at New Look Inspire? Also it looks like it has been put on wrong since it looks better form the inside than the outside. This dress is made from a stretch material and does not require a zip at all. Pointless messy feature in my opinion! As you can see I decided to fix the problem. This dress and other skater dresses are around £35 from New Look but I found it on ebay from a little store called My Pretty Plus for £17.99 so I figured the reduced price was worth it and a little alteration could be done to make a Pretty dress again.
I
was looking on Etsy for Vintage Glasses which is a regular activity and
came across this awesome Rubber Stamps! I had to have it and have been
using it for some fun and strange things as you will see below.
Variety of Inks from Hobby Craft
I ordered the large one and was sent the small one as a gift :)
I used the small one on my business card and gift tags
Large stamp on folded A4 paper to make a card and on envelope
Customized a boring card and envelope
Printed on white stickers to use on everything!!!
Since I love glasses it is hardly a shock that I also love sunglasses! I collect them and have quite a few. These are more recent ones.
For the next couple of weeks I am in Edinburgh visiting my parents and clearing out my old room. Sadly this means not so many OOTDs but I will try to get one or two in! It does mean I get to show you all my sunglasses I have found while sorting through my things. Last chance today to buy from my sale blog!

I colour my hair a red/ginger colour but pictures are not showing it up well. I decided to go with the red/rust theme of the day and wear this pretty little number. I love patent right now! Because I have coloured my hair I changed to my darker glasses. The others would get tainted by the dye. Especially at the ears!
This top is from the Clothes Swap and is a size 20. I am not a size 20! It is tight around my belly and quite short due to my boobs. Probably why someone donated it but because I wear my skirt high you don't see it. If you have a top you decided was too small try wearing it like this and you might just like it! A belt pulls it all together and this skirt is becoming a fast favourite of mine right now!

I met the lovely Miss Katie Soze about 4 months ago through the website Model Mayhem. Its a place for Photographers/Models/Hair/Makeup Artists to share their work and find work. She sent me a message asking me to shoot with her. I loved her portfolio! Especially the girly pretty blurred time lapse shots. I would be her first FAT model. Check out her work HERE and HERE
When she contacted me to do another shoot I was more than happy to do it! Not really knowing what we were going to do I took along a few items to use.Such as the Chevron Swim Shorts from Simply Be, Collar from Romwe, scarf, hat etc. Katie picked what she liked and we just had fun and a giggle as she shot the pretty pictures below.
I have had quite a few messages from women of all ages and sizes saying how brave I am and how seeing me has helped them love their own bodies a bit more. I totally understand it because it was the same for me! By doing shoots that show my fat body I have learned to love my body and accept it. I am so happy that my pictures can help other women on their own journey of self love If I can make people who think negative things about fat people think twice about their ideas that can only be a good thing.
Hope you enjoy them! Any comment and feedback are welcome! Good & bad.

As I have blogged before about this collection I will get straight to the point! When I was out Wednesday with Rachel from A Dress Is For Life we went to Evans and I got to see the collection in person fro the first time and try some things on.
The red dress was a fave when I saw it online as was the aqua and peach version. They are the same dress so I tried a size 24 and 26. It just looked awful on me. The shape did not sit well on me at all! I had to size up to the 26 just to fit it over my boobs and belly. I have seen this on other bloggers including Rachel and it looks fab! So it is just not suited to my shape.
The dress below looks much better in person than online. The detail of the print is great and so I tried it on in a 24 which fit as it is a stretchy fabric but I still felt the bust area was small. But I do have massive boobs! Also as you can see on the model it is knee length and on my tiny 5'4" frame it was very long! I loved the sleeves and v neck but would have had to have it taken up which I feel would spoil the overall look.
Below is the dress I fell in love with online and even more so in person! The colours! The flowers! The stripes! I tried it on in a 22/24 and it was a little big so tried the smaller size which was a straight size 20 and both Rachel and I felt it was a little tight and the bigger one looked better. The length on this dress was pretty true to the model pictures and the sleeves also not far off. Thanks to Rachel for the photos.
I caved and bought it bought it! £50 is a lot of money for me to spend on a dress and I had a little bit of guilt on the journey home but one I tried it on again I felt happy with the fact that it is a beautiful dress that I will wear again and again. I had to remind myself that the Beth Ditto Polka Dot dress I got many years ago is still a fave and I am sure this dress will be the same. It looks like it will wash well and easy to dress up or down.
OOTD posts to come!
On Wednesday I had a Lady Date with the very lovely and very gorgeous Rachel from A Dress Is For Life. We met at Meadowhall Mall for drinks chat and most some window shopping. Turns out neither of us are good at just looking as you can see from my mass of purchases below! We went to New look and tried on a heap of stuff and I returned a skirt and got the black and white flat shoes.
A don't think a girl can ever have too many hair bows! I wear them almost every day because I hate my hair in my eyes but my hair is too curly for a fringe and I am too lazy to mess about with it everyday. I collect sunglasses and love Primark for having a fantastic range at cheap as chips prices! The Tiger PJ Suit from Primark £12.99 was an impulse buy as Rachel raved about them and I have to say I love mine now! So cozy and fun! I will defo be investing in some more for cold winter nights. The last picture is a peek at what my next blog will be about.
What have you been buying recently?
