New Year = New Dress!

Monday, December 31, 2012

Every New Year I like to wear a new outfit and I spotted this dress months ago an a trip to Meadowhall with the lovely Lisa. It was LOVE at first sight but I did not hold out much hope as there were only 2 in stock and one was a size 16. The other was a 26 but I had heard that Praslin was made small so took the dress to the changing room to give it a shot!

To my complete surprise it fit! It was like it was made for me and I loved it even more on than I did on the hanger. I then had to face the price tag and knowing I did not have much money at the time. I looked at the ticket expecting to see £50+ and got the next shock of the day when it was only £34! I snapped it up and it has been waiting in my wardrobe patiently for New Years Eve or Hogmanay as us Scots call it! After this outing it will be used like any other dress for daily wear but on Hogmanay it is special and new.

It is a stretch fabric and even the mesh has a stretch. The flower detail is a flocked feel and it has a fab twirrrrrl to it which is why I have teamed it with my Domino Dollhouse Underskirt. I cannot praise this Underskirt enough! It is sooooo soft and comfy and makes me feel like a princess every time I wear it. I want every colour but sadly funds are low and postage and customs charges ain't cheap!

Anyways I hope everyone has a wonderful NEW YEAR and stays safe. May 2013 be everything you want, dream and hope for.
Much love Lolly xxx

  2. You look lovely lass! I'll see you at the swap and hopefully I'll dig out some of my old femme threads for you. I'm sure there must be some stuff left, but I did send a lot of it off to the charity shop before I moved.
