I do not tend to wear a lot of orange or pink but I saw this dress on ebay and thought it would make a lovely summer dress as it is a stretchy tshirt material. It is ASOS Curve size 26 and cost me less than £8. The waterfall style cardi was given to me by the gorgeous Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge at Plus North after the Simply Be fashion show and I have to say I have worn it quite a bit so thank you Hanna and Simply Be!

I chose to wear a thick belt from Evans over the cardi to give some shape but also without the cardi it just adds some detail. I pinned on my poodle brooch and striped hair bow and bangle to keep with the stripe theme and these cute cherry jelly flip flops from Primark.

This dress is quite clingy and the stripes amplify my curves and double belly (DB) but visible belly outline (VBO) is something I encourage as I love my belly.

I have a few gold and silver tone necklaces that are losing their colour and end up just chucking them but with brooches I found that a couple of coats of nail varnish makes them fun coloured and good as new!

I got this brooch on ebay to go with my gifted cat eyed brooch to have a His & Hers kinda thing. It has little gems but one was missing so I got it for £1.50. I knew I was going to cover it in nail varnish so a stone missing did not make any difference as it would not be noticeable.

This would work on earrings and other things. Do you have anything you can paint and use again? I would love to see!

Since Evans was having a sale and an extra 20% off I couldn't help but have a look at the Clements Ribeiro items on offer! With the discount I got the dress for £20.  I had tried a couple of the dresses on in store and found the 26 to be too tight and the bust not fitting my boobs but this dress was loose fitting and a different shape to the ones I had tried so figured I would give it a go. I ordered a size 26 and kept my fingers crossed. I also ordered the coat but it was not a good shape on me so took it back and swapped it for something else.


This dress is a great length on my 5'3'' frame and is lightweight and floaty feeling. It is such a girly print and love that is came with two choices of belt. A fabric one that I prefer and a black patent skinny. I wore this out bowling and it was very comfortable. It also has pockets.


It has a nice round neck and not too wide or low. Sleeves are a good length on me even though in the official picture they are shorter on the model as is the length of the dress but I actually prefer it a little longer on me so I can wear with or without leggings.


I can see me wearing this dress a lot and hopefully it will wash well and not need ironing as I DO NOT IRON! Below is a close shot of the lovely print and my boobs. Enjoy! Sorry the pictures are a little dark but you get the idea.

When I saw this dress on ASOS Curve I thought it would sell out fast being a skater dress with cute print and polka dots so I ordered is straight away. Although on my iphone it looked more red than pink lips and had thought it would go great with my lips bag. It is super cute! Stretchy tshirt material so easy to wear and wash. Generous in size. I ordered a 26 and could have sized down easily. It has a nice round low neck to show off the bust but not too much and is knee length. I am 5'3'' so keep in mind it will be shorter on most ladies such as the one in the advert above. Very short!


This is my third ASOS Curve dress and am happy to have another place to shop. Most of the items on the website are a little much for me but I like to shop in sales anyway but like I said when I saw this I had to have it and happy I did.


I chose to wear this dress to meet a few fat bloggers for a birthday dinner in town on Saturday for the lovely Lisa.


I am not usually a pink wearer. I tend to go for red but I have a few cute pink accessories which is why I wasn't too bothered when the dress turned out more pink than red.


I love the print and feel of this dress. Skater dresses are so easy to wear and always end up wearing a belt with dresses. I do love accessories. I love picking out a pair of glasses to go with my outfit. A woman in the supermarket asked me where I got my glasses from and I had to think for a minute and figure out which pair I was wearing!

This post is thanks to the beautiful talented sexy Miss Faye Daniels. I sent her a little care package a while back and a necklace more recently. All things I saw and thought of her. Her photos, tattoos and love of art and pooches have long been a joy for me to see and follow. Faye sent me this beautiful ASOS dress as a thank you. I have only bought one dress from ASOS before and had to send it back because it was a bodycon dress but cut strange and did not fit my shape.

This is a size 26 and fits perfect. It has an elasticated waist so has some stretch and is a longer length so no leggings or tights required. The mesh type neckline gives a a peek-a-boo effect without showing too much. I love the print. I am a cherries fan and this is a more sophisticated style than the usual vintage tattoo print I would normally see in dresses. I kept this outfit simple with a bow belt and bolero. I feel very Pin Up in this dress much like the lady herself who gifted it to me.  

I have met so many amazing people through blogs and wish I could meet them all in person. Some are closer than others. I have been inspired by these people and have gained confidence from their words, photos and experiences and want to thank them all for their support and helping me become the woman I am today.

I am a huge lover of The Body Shop Body Butter especially the coconut one. There were a few flavours on offer at £6 reduced from £12.50. I love cherry and so opted for this one. They are a great size and last ages. I use on face, body and feet and smell delicious all day.


I have been getting sore feet from the flats I wear most of the time so got these insoles from New Look for £2.99 to add a bit of padding and hopefully solve my foot aches.


While in New Look I found this Polka dot waterfall blouse/cardi on sale. Not my size but in this style you can get away with sizing up or down a couple sizes. To be seen in future OOTD


I also got this very colourful flower print skirt and for £6 you can't really go wrong.

The venue was Aspire in Leeds and just a short walk from the train station. It was beautiful! Set on two levels with table displays around the edge of the room and upstairs. There was so much to see. I picked up a copy of Slink Magazine. Munched down a pretty and yummy cupcake from Fat Cow Moos. Wished I had more money while looking through the rails of clothes from ExciteClothing and Simply Be. Also checking out the handmade jewels by Pesky Chloe from Lifes Big Canvas.

I wore my Evans Clements Ribeiro dress (size22/24)with Asda Leggings (18), Domino Dollhouse Glasses Belt (xxl), Romwe Collar, Primark wide fit bow shoes & Dorothy Perkins frame bag. This picture was taken by a lovely lady from the Evans stall and I borrowed it from the Evans Blog as I forgot to take a picture of my outfit!


The Mighty Boof was super fun and I wanted to take all the glasses home with me! Such a fun thing for weddings and parties. All photos were free on the day and were featured on their facebook page here.




The fashion show was put on by sponsors Simply Be and the models were allowed to chose two outfits they would like to wear. I picked this fun aubergine and flower dress. I loved the colour and print. It was really comfy and light. Almost tshirt like but with little sleeve details that made it more formal.

I had also picked a yellow honeycomb dress but it was not available so was given a black dress with faux leather pocket detail. It was a nice shape and quite heavy material so more of a winter wardrobe item for me but I liked it.

All the models had picked great outfits and some were also modeling underwear. Everyone was nervous but excited and did a fantastic job. The Simply Be ladies were lovely and so supportive. We got to keep the items we modeled so a big thank you to Simply Be for that! We were also given little gift bags for taking part.

I got to meet lots of new ladies such as writer Cath Bore, Beth aka TinksLostGirls & Nelly from NellysCupcakes and yet there were still sooooo many I did not get the chance to talk to.


Rachel looked fabulous as always and was a big hit with her purple hair snood and matching lipstick. Her ASOS glasses chain was also a big hit! So much so I ordered it at the event on my phone for fear of it selling out before I got home!


I did not get the chance to meet this table of lovely ladies but I had to share this photo as it is full of fab hair and glasses porn! Who are you ladies? I want to know you! I want to know all the ladies I did not get the chance to talk to. You know who you are! Yes you!


Another beauty I didn't get to meet but just look at how gorgeous she is! So may hot fat ladies in one room was really an amazing sight and I felt honoured to have been a part of it.
