The Poppy is one of my favourite flowers, it also reminds me of my mum and my favourite dress is a poppy print! When Chloe aka Pesky Chloe, Paper Ninja and I am going to coin Badge-inator of Lifes Big Canvas (Blog & Shop) posted a picture of this large necklace on facebook I knew I had to have it. 

What makes this Poppy even more brilliant is that it is from artwork painted by her lovely husband Ian McGenn. Ian paints flowers and does a magnificent job as you can see but what makes him even more talented is the fact that he paints with his mouth! Ian broke his neck when he was 16 playing rugby and uses a wheelchair but that does not stop him from creating beautiful art that you can see on his facebook page HERE

Chloe & Ian have created three stunning sets or necklaces and brooches from his artwork. They are available HERE. My necklace is the large version but smaller ones are available. The would make a beautiful Valentines or Mothers Day gift to someone special or just treat yourself!
