Meadowhall trip the final installment. Excuse the wet rained on frizzball hair.  New Look has had a changing room makeover and it looks so fresh and pretty. You might be able to catch a glimps in the background of some of my photos.



I had seen this red peplum dress online and figured it would look horrid on me but tried it on anyways! I am wearing a size 26 which was too low on the bust as was the peplum section but the belly was way too small.




I love the colour of this dress and the fact that it is polka dots. Lisa tried a 26 and I the 28. It is a really light stretchy fabric but I worry it would catch on things being of a lace type material, The bust was high enough to cover the bra and length was good on me for a dress but fear Lisa might need to size up for more length to wear as a dress.



It is by Praslin which I must admit have never tried any of their items on and had been warned their sizing is small which I would defo agree with. This dress costs £30.



I tend to shy away from skin tone clothes and have not fallen victim to the sheer blouse phenomenon but figured I would give it a whirl. I actually surprised myself and really like it. The colour is broken up by the black collar and black leggings. I fear I am too much of a wuss to wear this now as the weather has turned terribly cold and I have resorted to gloves already. It is certainly something I will try next summer.
The blouse is a size 26 and cost £17.99.

I purchased a beautiful dress from New Look but you will have to wait for an ootd post for me to show it off in its full glory without my rained on hair!

I am a fan of New Look for their variety and sizes available but I am not happy at the removal of plus size ranges from city center stores and online postage fees for orders and returns. Also the Plus Size sales never have much in them and the fact that online and in store stock are not calculated together. If something is sold out online you will usually still find it in store. Which means a trip to the shop.

Sorry in advance for the blurred photos. I am not so good at taking pictures in changing rooms and with my iphone but you get the idea of the outfits. I hope! Keep in mind I am usually as size 24/26 and 5'3'' with 44h bust. Although in Yours I wear a 46G (their largest bra) but could probably do with an H cup.



I wore my New Look Biker Jacket, TKMaxx Dress, Sainsburys Leggings, Asda Shoes and Ebay satchel to go to Meadowhall with Lisa. This is my Yours Clothing review.




I had seen this dress a few times and decided to give it a try in a size 26. The Top part is quite sheer and the best comes with the dress. If I was buying this I would have to try a size 28 as the belly and boobs are a little too tight for my liking. The dress costs £40 and is from the Limited Collection. A little expensive.




Next up was the Navy & Polka Dot dress which is the same style as the dress I wore out today. The 26/28 was a good length and it has a tie around back. All in all a lovely dress and only £25.




Lisa and I both loved this skirt! It is super soft and has a great full appearance like it has a petticoat under it. It is two layers and a good length. I tried a size 24 which was a perfect fit and still has a lot of stretch at the waist. It is from the Limited Collection and cost £25 which for my cheap ass was a little expensive.


I liked this dress for a party or weekend event. The sequin collar and sheer cuffed sleeves made it catch my eye. I am wearing the 22/24 but would need to size up to the 26/28 for it to not cling to my DB so much. I would add a thin belt to this too. A great dress I would be love to have. It costs £35 which is not bad for a party dress really.

I would also like to add that staff in Meadowhall Yours are a bit hit & miss. I had asked what size bras go up to and before I could finish my sentence the Lady on the till barked 32 at me. Meaning the largest dress size and so had not listened to my question. Also the lady on changing room duties was not happy that we had tried on items and were not buying anything that we tried on. I have worked in retail for 13 years and being a sales assistant is not a fun job. The best part is interacting with the customers which makes your day more interesting and the customer feel like they matter. Also it is just good manners. A thing that people seem to have very little of it seems.

I met the lovely Lady Lisa in town for a day of fun, giggles and shopping at Meadowhall since the weather was terrible and we did not want to wander around town in the rain. This meant that I got to experience my first Tram ride! I have been in Sheffield for a while now but never been on a Tram. It was pretty cheap too and now I know how to get to Meadowhall I will defo venture there more. This a picture of Lisa on the Tram to commemorate the occasion.



I made my first MUA purchases from Superdrug. I am fairly boring when it comes to make up. I bit of liquid eyeliner and red lips is as jazzy is it get from me. So I got a couple of red lipsticks one dark and one really bright. At £1 each I can't complain. One of them also has a little unscrew tub at the bottom to use with a lip brush. I also got the lightest shade of face powder they do as I get very shiny and love powder instead of a foundation.

We got some yummy cakes at Fancies Cupcake stand. We both went for mint options and they looked as good as they tasted!


Below are some really fantastic boots I tried on in Evans. Even with a wider calf fitting I still could not zip it up. Why aren't Evans doing different size calf and ankle widths along with there wide foot widths?


This a beautiful print from Dorothy Perkins but sadly their sizes are too small for my 24/26 body. I want clothes in awesome prints and fabrics in size FAT! Make this happen retailers!

Yet again great fabric print not in our size. Come on Dorothy Perkins make your clothes bigger so us fat chicks can give you our cash!



This is a call to retailers to please make clothes for fat people that are bright and fun and sexy! Even if you as a thin person don't think these should be worn by fat people. It is our choice what we spend out money on and what we put on out bodies just give us the chance to buy what we want! Every person should feel good in what they wear no matter what size or shape.

This dress is smaller than the zig zag & skull print dresses which look similar. The 24 was a bit tight on me.

Great winter warmer that will go with anything.


Some lovely colours to choose from in the legging department. I would love to see some polka dots or heart print leggings in New Look next season.

If you are looking for a biker jacket this winter ASOS had a leather one with proper lapels not like some of the Grandad collar ones around. It is super soft and a lovely jacket at a decent price if you have the money.

My fab boyfriend said he would it buy it for my Christmas so  I ordered the 26 with fingers crossed even though their size guide said it would not fit. It was right. The sleeves were way too long and so was the body of the jacket even with my massive boobs to lift it up. It sat on my hips and this is why it didn't work for me. I got it fastened with a bit of effort but it sat all wrong and wasn't comfortable.

If you have a long body you might get away with it. I am only 5'3'' and it just wasn't the correct proportions for me sadly. The bust fit my 44h and the shoulders were perfect.


I am wearing the New Look Inspire size 24 Biker Jacket and found it very warm and a good fit. Sleeves are a little long on me but I not as long as the ASOS version and for £40 I have to say it is a pretty good winter jacket. The faux leather is pretty damn good. It has sold out in all size but 24 on the website so act fast if you want to get yours. Check in stores for your size too!



Trying on the size 24 in store and falling in love with Biker jackets. I am old enough to remember these in the late 80s and early 90s being in fashion and hating them! How tastes change.
