“I wanted to make pieces to last years. Beyond trends, beyond chain stores. I wanted to create something all its own, something just for us, made with love and consideration. Made ethically in the USA as a small company with no corporate input. Uncompromising, unapologetic, humane, and timeless. Go-to pieces designed to last.”- Beth Ditto

This may look familiar because I blogged about the Kim Top version of this print HERE. This is a woven cotton type material with no stretch. It had the same cut as the Kim but more length and a v neck at the back with strap.

This is not the first time I have worn something backwards! lol I actually wear the Vintage Evans Beth Ditto Domino dress backwards as I like the higher neckline. See HERE. I will wear this dress the right way around too but for this the styling worked better with the necklace and v neck.

I am in love with all my Beth Ditto items and the print of this one is just perfection. The tiny Beth heads are just awesome. This is a 3x and is very oversized so will fit anyone up to a size 34 I would say and maybe even bigger.

Gold accessorise and vintage glasses complete this look and I would be happy wearing this to a Summer meal by the beach or a glitzy New Years party! That is what I love about this Collection. Everything is so versatile. The New Collection is just stunning and I have my eye on quite a few pieces!

I have quite a few skirts but not many tops. This is a very pretty lace detail neckline top. It also has the sweetheart neckline shape that I love so much. It feels light and delicate to wear so would be great any time of year. It is available in this purple or black form Scarlett & Jo. I would have liked the fabric rather than the lace to cover my bra straps but that is just my preference as a big booby lady who needs wide bra straps.

I am wearing the size 24 but as the lace is delicate it was a little loose. I could have sized down to a 22 as I like the fitted look and wear it tucked in. The 24/26 would be a better fit for me if I am wearing it with trousers or jeans.

Having taken these photos I wished I had worn purple tights or knee highs. Sometimes outfits I put together are great and some not so great. I like this outfit but think it would have been great with tights. That is how blogging goes sometimes. We can't get it 100% all the time. We learn as we go and hopefully inspire you readers to have fun with fashion and try new things. What is the worst that can happen?!

I bought a Green Lurex dress by Scarlett & Jo last year and it is one of my favourites for a sparkletastic outfit. This Lurex is super bling with the glitter thread and super soft and non itchy on the inside with lots of stretch for comfort.

This style is lovely and the almost wings like effect is really awesome. The arm hole hidden underneath are the best fitting arm holes I have found on any plus size dress! so gaping or showing of bra. Such a little detail which makes all the difference and shoes that Scarlett & Jo make the effort to size and fit fat bodies rather than just sizing up straight size patterns like most brands do.

This dress and most of the items on their website now come in sizes 10-32 (but being generously sizes with fit up to a 34/36). They are not just a plus size Brand they are for most bodies including tall/short and maternity. This brand is doing so much for fashion and making new standards in what fashion should be lie for all bodies. Thank you Scarlett & Jo!

I am wearing the size 26 Purple version but it is also available in Gold or Silver. I think I need the 26 for my large bust. The waist is elastic but not too tight. The length is good for me (I am 5'3'').  As with most Scarlett & Jo styles I tend to want all the colour options of things because they are just to great and this is no exception! Perfect Sparkle Party wear.

You can never have too much glitter or sparkle and Scarlett & Jo have always brought the glamour. With their New Lurex Glitter Tops and Dresses they are making this lady very happy!

The Lurex is a glitter thread and this Top is available in Gold or Silver. The material has lots of stretch and no itch on the inside it is smooth. I love the longer length and this would look fab with some smart trousers or even jeans. The knot bust detail is very pretty too. The sleeves are lovely and loose and the v neck is perfect to show off a lovely necklace like this Eclectic Eccentricities one.

As with most Scarlett & Jo pieces I loved this so much that I bought it in Silver too! Seriously you can never have too many sparkles in you life and wardrobe. I wore this with the Scarlett & Jo leggings in a size 22. They are very soft with lots of stretch and have a nice comfortable waistband. I like the longer length for Winter. They wash great and have lasted me ages.

To some people clothes are just things to cover your body. To me clothes are mood boosters and expession of what I am feelng projected to the world. As Beth Ditto says above "uncompromising, unapologetic" fashion. My choice of clothes for my fat body are uncompromising and unapologetic! I am fat some don't like that word and I understand why but I own it and am in no doubt of what my body looks like to myself or others. I am fat. That is not a bad thing it is just my sizes/shape. That is all it tells you about this body.

My belly is large and wearing clothes that show it is not a bad thing. I am not hiding it. It is part of me and you don't have to love it. Hell you don't even have to like it because it is mine not yours. So yes you can see my belly but if that is all you see then you need to check your eyes.

Wearing clothes that are made for a fat body and celebrate my body with colour and quality is a total joy. This top makes me feel happy. That is what this Collection does for me. I hope you see that in me and can find it in yourself with fashion or something else because heing unhappy in your body is not a nice ways to live. Trust me! I did it for over 20 years.

I have had this dress for a while and realised I had not blogged about it yet so here it is! This is a Lollidot Scarlett & Jo dress. I still find it exciting that there is a range of dresses named after me! I have this in the green version and loved it so much I had to get the blue version too. I sized down to the 24 for this one and it still fits great. It fits my bust better and has no gaping.

It is a stretch jersey fabric that does not crease and washed really well. There is an elastic waist that is very comfortable. The length is great for me and I am 5'3'' for reference. The 3/4 sleeve is perfect for Autumn and winter. The skirt has enough fabric for a good swishhh to it.

I have kept this outfit quite simple and I would say this is an everyday or work style but as with all Scarlett & Jo dresses you can dress them up for any occasion! It is only available in a 14 and 20 on the website now but you can size down with this dress.

These glasses were a bargain ebay find. They are modern frames with reading glasses prescription that I had reglazed with my prescription and cost under £30 for everything! I also bought them in green!

I have a couple more Halloween inspired looks for you including this Cat print skirt. I found this fabric with a google search and asked Interrobang Art to make me this Midi skirt. You can have a skirt/dress made form any fabric and with elastic or zip waist in size 6-36!!! I am wearing the XL and I am a size 26/28 but could easily size down due to the elastic and lots of fabric.

I blogged about this skirt last year when I got it HERE and have styled it quite casual for this look. The top is from a pack of 3 from Simply Be. Shoes are also from there and in wide fit.

These glasses were an Ebay find and are vintage. I love the bat shape of them and have my prescription lenses fitted by Specs-by-post.com as always. They are £10 to reglaze plus postage.

My Happy Halloween is another old purchase but is still available from Charcoal Designs. I love all their stuff.

I added some sparkle with these Desperate Beatnik earrings and I have to say they are my go to Brand for when I want to shine.

Nobody has ever called me understated and if this outfit doesn't get some looks then there is something wrong! I love a pumpkin tshirt and this one is from Asda George Mens section in a xxxl and cost £5. The bow is also from Asda and I picked it up in the Halloween isle.

I got these Bat glasses from a friend and had them reglazed with my prescription for £10 so I can wear them and actually see. You can buy the glasses from ebay and for all your reglazing needs I highly recommend Specs-by-post.com

I picked up this bag from ebay. The seller had a few different designs and colour bags and they glow in the dark. I got black and orange versions and will use them all year round.
