So you might have noticed my many posts on various social media on Sunday that I got engaged. My lovely man of nearly 5 years proposed to me on bended knee in a swanky hotel room. Let me take you to the start of the evening. I got dressed up to go to a friends birthday meal or so I thought.

I wore this Modcloth dress I have blogged about before HERE but can never seem to get great photos of! I love this dress. I added my Desperate Beatnik matching red/silver confetti glitter lucite earrings and brooch set.

Keeping with the glitter theme I wore red glitter flats and my new Red Or Dead gold/silver glitter bag. I got it from Simply Be but can't find it on the website now.

The future husband even made an effort with a fancy shirt and suit jacket. He lives in tartan shirts so this is fancy for him. He even posed for a couple of pics. Ever the joker! One of the many many reasons I love him.
