So the saying goes "Red and green should never be seen" but it is good enough for nature and Santa and I really love the combination.  This also a double dots outfit! This is the last of the Scarlett & Jo Teal Lollidot dresses I have to share with you but fear not there is still a Navy Lollidot to come soon!

The sleeves have little turn ups and the waist belt comes from the front just under the bust on me but on a smaller bust would sit at the waist (See it on Kat HERE) The midi length is perfect on me but long enough as not to be too short on someone taller.

I wore this today to run a few errands out and about with the family. It was a pretty chilly day and so I wore my black leggings but will be wearing this skirt in Summer to get the most wear out of it.

The skirt is actually a modified dress. I bought 3 of the same dress from SWAK in the USA as I loved the vintage prints but sadly they were way too short in the bust and very large everywhere else. I sold one and had the other 2 just sitting in a corner. When I got Interrobang Art to make me some skirts recently I asked if she did alterations and she does so I had her cut the dresses up and add elastic waist so I now have 2 very cool retro skirts I can actually wear!

The top is from Simply Be and came in a pack of 3 of various colours and was in a sale. The brooch is a little wooden robot by Ladybirdlikes. I have a few of her brooches. I added some earrings from Desperate Beatnik. The orange and blue glitter goes well with my glasses and the skirt!

I love all things retro and American classic poodle skirts with saddle shoes has to be my all time favourite look.  This outfit just jumped out of my wardrobe at me when sometimes putting an outfit together can be be a bit of a challenge. I am so glad I snapped up this skirt in a Modcloth sale a while back and it goes great with this Everything5Pounds striped top. The shoes and glasses finish off this look and give it the vintage feel.

My glasses were an ebay buy from the USA. They are vintage Ray Ban Glitter Cateye Sunglasses that I had reglazed with my prescription for £10 from Specs-by-post.
