If you saw my previous post I met up with some local bloggers for a bit of shopping and food at Meadowhall on Thursday and I bought this dress from Simply Be. I had not seen it on the website but it is there and on sale! I tried the 26 and 28 and I needed the 28 to fit my bust. It is a smock style dress and I just loved the sleeves and of course the lipstick print! It is a thin polyester non stretch material so would be great for Summer but I will chick on some boots and cardi or jacket and make it work this Winter.

The leggings are Asos Curve cropped version and I always size down in leggings. These are a 22 and they still pull up to under my bust and the elastic waist is not too tight. I also bought the full length version but they are about 5 inch too long on me (5'3'')

I had a much needed haircut on Friday and thought I would take some outfit pics and I don't own hair straighteners so my hair will never look like this again after it has been washed.

Woohoo! Another Lollidot dress from Scarlett & Jo! Yes I am biased since they are named after me but they are also just awesome dresses. I have never been into cowl necklines but thought I would give it a try and I actually love it. This is the first black stretchy fabric lollidot dress and it is perfect for work or play. I am hoping a few more styles in black are released next year. I have been told there is one more lollidot to come this year and is a perfect party dress.

I am wearing the 26 as I was unsure if the bust would be big enough even with the cowl detail I didn't want it to be too stretched so this was the perfect size for me. The fit, length and sleeve length are all perfect and I really have nothing but two thumbs up for this dress.

I wore this to a family celebration at the weekend and just added a couple of blingy brooches to make it extra glam. Brogues are my go to shoes as they are formal and comfortable at the same time and go with almost everything.

It is so hard to find shirts when you have a large bust and small frame. I tend to stay away from them but when I saw this Karina shirt by In The Style Curve I had to give it a try. I originally ordered the 28 which to my surprise was huge on me so then ordered this size 26. Yes the collar is a little big, the sleeves are little long and 24 would have fit my frame better but I really need the 26 for my bust.

I also thought this would be a thin shirt but it is really thick and has a little stretch. I am wearing a black bra under it to show how thick it is. I love the skater dip hem style at the bottom which means it fits all size bums. It had been available in black also but is now sold out and does not look like it is coming back into stock.

This is quite a smart but casual look for me. I always think of jeggings/jeans as casual which is silly really. I added the brown belt and shoes to tie in the beautiful handmade brooch that was given to my by a talented friend.

How much more fun can a bag get?! This is another Yoshi real leather bag that has me drooling over how cute it is and also how well made it is. It is large enough to be an everyday bag for work and play with 2 size pockets and a large middle section all secure with poppers and zip. The detail of this bag is stunning and even has a balloon on the back.

If you love this bag but would prefer a longer handle you are in luck! Yoshi are wonderful because they do various styles in this Amongst The Clouds design with purse and even keyring to match so you can get a complete set. HERE

I am so pleased to be sharing this Yoshi bag and purse with you all today! These are not my first Yoshi pieces and I love their quality and designs.

This is a new colour to their collection and the Cornflower Blue is just beautiful. It is such a Summer/Easter colour to me and can see me using it with lots of navy outfits from my wardrobe.

The leather used for this bag is so soft and smooth I couldn't stop touching it! Please take note of the extra long handle that fits all sizes of arms. Seriously think The Rock could get his huge muscle arms through there easily!

The lining is striped and is coordinated to the blue on the outside. All Yoshi bags come with dust bags and are well packaged with tissue. You can also get 10% off your first order!

The cute little matching purse is perfect for those days when you don't want to take your big purse and all those cards you never use. I love a little purse for when I go to the cinema or have a small bag on a night out.

This dress was £12 in the Lindy Bop sale a while ago and it is not great quality. It is super thin and stretchy. I am wearing a size 26. It is only available in size 8/10 in the lipstick print but there is a plain purple option on sale and available in all sizes.

Here is a better look at these beauties. If you love a good leather bag that will last you years and will always be in style then check out Yoshi! They make beautiful plain bags but also they are masters of fun and funky picture designs for all occasions!

Good Luck!

This is my 5th dress in this style from Scarlett & Jo and it is safe to say it is my favourite style for Summer! Thanks to the thin and floaty material and loose fit it makes for a sweat free wear even on the hottest of days. The newest versions feature these cute and useful pockets with flap detail. Any dress with pockets gets two thumbs up from me and this is a 100% winner!

This print is also now available in a pink and purple detail which is super lovely and on my wish list of future purchases! The elastic waist is comfortable and gives shape. The length means it is not flashing your lady parts on a breezy day and the v neck back detail is just lovely.

This was the perfect dress for today. If you have not tried this dress I urge you to now as there are so many prints including polka dots and daisies now available.

This was a cute find thanks to Sarah of TonsaBlush on Youtube. She reviewed a few things including this dress from UK Brand WearAll and I had to give it a try.

I had a discount code and have linked to 20% off at the bottom for you to also take advantage.

This is a super stretchy light material that my lace bra is showing its lumps and bumps. Defo go for a tshirt smooth bra. The collar also has some stretch making this a great comfortable Summer item. It does crease and I do not iron but can live with the creases due to the comfort and price.

I am wearing the 26/28 and it fits well but I would not ear this as a dress as I find it a bit short and I am 5'3'' but as a top this is perfect for me.

The pins I have added to the collar are by a brilliant artist called Chris Bourke and you can get these along with other pins of his and his art on his etsy store linked at bottom.

I love when Gingham season comes around in fashion and I have been after a black rather than blue gingham for a while. I saw this dress on Simply Be and hate cold shoulder style. The dress only goes up to a size 26 and being non stretch material I didn't hold out much hope for it fitting my size 26/28 body but figured I would give this a try and could always send it back if it didn't fit/suit. My issue with cold shoulder styles is that straps rarely cover all my bra and this dress was the same.

I found that the straps were actually sewn lower down so was able to just cut them off with sewing involved and you would never even know there had been straps! (see last photo for before and after) The neck is stretchy but holds its shape and stays up on the shoulders. The waist is elastic making the a super comfortable dress considering the material has no stretch.

It is light and perfect for summer. My only issue is that when sitting it is tight over my belly but it does not bother me to have a vbo so no problem. I loved the embroider detail across the front which does not flap about in the wind. The length is perfect for me but I am a shortie at 5'3'' so if you are taller be aware that it will be shorter on you.

I bought the bag which is actually a makeup bag from TKMaxx yesterday for £10 and threw on some sunglasses, birks and this super lovely hair flower by Kalandra Jane who makes the most beautiful headwear!

This is the last of my Beth Ditto reviews and just in time foot the final blowout sale on the website. You can see my other reviews HERE. Beth is focusing on music just now with her new album Fake Sugar and World Tour so grab a pretty before everything sells out!

This is the Lola Lips dress from the first collection. I am wearing a size 26 (size 26 & 28 still available) and it is the right fit for me a UK size 26/28. I need it for the bust. The material like the skirt version is a double layer thick stretchy material with thin stretchy under layer. This is a not really a Summer dress because of how thick it is. It has this lovely crossover neck and short sleeves that fit well. This dress also has the famous giant pockets that this bag could fit in!

I love this length on me but I am a shortie 5'3'' so it would be shorter on taller people. I think the dresses are my favourite bits from both collections. I am a dress lover anyway but the prints, fit and shapes just really speak to me. I really hope that Beth comes back next year with a Collection of equally as awesome pieces or better if that is possible!

Thank you Beth for making load and interesting clothing for fat bodies like mine and for letting me review some of them here! My fashion game is stronger because of you!
