Looking at these photos has me feeling like I am back in my teens! Evan the bag is very similar to one I owned back then. I lived in denim shirts and leggings! I was quite the TomBoy. A little larger than I was then and a lot more fatshion savvy I am surprised how happy I am with this outfit. I figured I needed some casual summer wear as hoodies and cardis make me sweat in the summer. I had seen a few denim shirts online at New Look Inspire and thought I would try one. I ordered a 26 as the tartan shirt I had previously tried was too small across my bust but this fits great and I love the popper button and faded detail. I also got the shoes and vest from New Look online. The vest is a two pack and I got the 26 for length. The bag was a birthday gift from Bettie & Jen and the Loveheart necklace from Rebs and the Clock Brooch by & from Rachel. I have awesome friends! The Speach Bubble brooch was from my Mr for my Birthday and the Hello Kitty Glasses Necklace was a gift from the lovely     at Charcoal Designs for purchasing some of her amazing necklaces.

I have been crafting up a storm for Sheffield Zine Fest! Making cards and brooches and will be selling cupcakes too. If you are at all into Zines or just cake you should pop along. The venue is next to Sheffield Train Station and it is free entry on the day. There will be about 18 tables selling Zines and crafts. You can book yourself a table for about £11 or half table for £6 through Bettie HERE. The venue is The Electric Works and I have seen some photos which look amazing! It is a modern building with a slide/flume from the top floor of the building to reception! How amazing is that!

Fatshionologie is a blogger style challenge born out of a discussion on twitter in the hopes that it would help us create exciting new content for out blogs as well as show that each new style 'theme' can be rocked by a variety of different body shapes.

For this months Challenge we chose Floral and this is also the first of my Plus Size Clothes Swap items! I picked up this little orange cardi in a size 22 from Asda which looked new. It isn't a colour I would normally go for but because it was free I thought I could make it work and when I got home after the Swap I had a parcel waiting for me from New Look Inspire. I had ordered this dress as soon as I saw it on their website as it was only £12.99 and figured it would sell out fast. I was right. To my surprise the peach and rust roses on the dress matched perfectly with the cardi. I am also wearing a bra I got from Rebecca at the swap in a size 42GG from Panache and is the most comfortable bra I have ever tried. I may need to size up to an H when I invest in new bras but it works for now. I wore this outfit on my birthday and felt lovely in it.

The next night was Rebeccas belated birthday party and she had asked me to make some cupcakes. I went with Strawberry and Double Chocolate Mint. When I arrived I saw this amazing Batman Cake!!!
 We played some games and I got some birthday presents from Rebecca and Rachel which I was forced to open! Lots of Brooched and necklaces made by Rachel. Zines from Rebecca and a lovely vintage bag from Bettie and Jen






We went out for lunch as he surprised my by booking the day off work and we went for food at Damon's near Crystal Peaks in Sheffield. It looks nothing like what you would think from the outside. I was surprised how retro it was and felt like I had just stepped on set of the movie Casino. I had the best BBQ Ribs ever and Onion Loaf! A great birthday day was had and more fun plans for Sunday with friends in town.

So the snow has returned again and I figured I needed some Welly Boots. The last pair of wellies I had were when I was in primary school so about 10 years old and remember vividly going to John Lewis with my mum and trying to fit a pair of Royal Blue ones over my chubby calves. Sadly I had no luck but managed to squeeze my foot down far enough to know the boot fit my foot. My mum bought the boots and when we got home she took a pair of scissors to them and made them shorter so the didn't hunch up at my ankles.

Recently I have been seeing lots of blog posts of wide fit wellies and have tried on a few but still found them to bee too small for my massive calves. When I saw these cuter the cute ankle boot wellies in Sainsburys I had to try them. They fit! I even had to size down to a 5 and have worn them a few times in the snow and surprised at what good grip they have and how warm they actually are. The were not so cheap at £16 but I figured they would last me a good few years so they would be worth it.



While at Meadowhall with Lisa last week I spotted these in Primark. My obsession with all things Glasses and my Birthday on it's way made me pop these in my basket.


In the Pound shop I picked up another couple of Cake boxes to use for Sheffield Zine Fest  and some Cupcake Cases = £4. I will be selling cakes and drinks and some handmade cards and brooches.


The bargain of the day were these Silver Creepers from New Look for £3!!!! I thought it must be a mistake so asked at the till but was told they were actually £3 so of course they came home with me. My last pair of Creepers cost £24 and they split across the bottom of both soles after a month of wear but figured for £3 I could live with it.
