If you follow me on instagram (@lollylikes) you may have seen my issues with this skirt. I have ordered from Lindy Bop before and their largest size is a 26. Sadly I cannot squeeze my bust into their dresses. When I saw they were having a sale I headed over to the site so drool over all the pretty print dresses and found this skirt on sale in a size 26. I ordered it and when it arrived there was a huge brown stain on it and a large white sticker with an arrow pointing to the stain just to be sure I noticed it! I obviously returned the skirt and asked for a full refund including postage which they did no problem. It still cost me to return the skirt to them! No free returns.

I loved the skirt so figured I would order another one and hopefully it would be fine and fit like the previous one fit. The second skirt arrived and guess what! It had a stain on it too! You can imagine by now I am really annoyed! I did not want to pay for another return so decided to wash the skirt and hope that the stain came out. Thankfully it did and fits. It really has made me think twice about ordering from them again. Although I did notice a glasses print skirt new on the site and I am very tempted but grudge spending money on a brand that barely fits my fat body after my previous experiences.

Anyways this is a Scarlett & Jo dress worn under the skirt. I love the top of this dress and it goes great with the skirt. I think this is a perfect Valentine Month outfit with the red and cute Lipstick print and bag. Of course their had to be some glassesporn and why not hearts since it is February!

I can't quite believe I am Mum to a 3 year old! Where has the last 3 years gone?! It has not been easy by a long shot but we have done our best and it seems to be working. Franklin is putting on weight so much in fact that he has been taken off his night feed pump! We will see what his weight does over the next month. This means he is getting all his calorie needs from food he eats. He still gets around 500ml of his 1000ml liquid intake via his peg feed tube in his tummy. He also starts nursery 3 mornings a week in September! My baby is growing up.

Being a parent is the hardest job I have ever had and I really do not know how single parents manage to do it and work. I am so lucky to have a partner that does his share and more! We make a good team.

We were in Edinburgh staying with my family for Franklins actual birthday so had a second party for him with his English family in the garden when we got back. Thankfully for the first time we got lovely weather! Everyone had a great time and Franklin was spoiled rotten!

I wore this Lady Voluptuous Cherry dress which I have blogged about before HERE but have styled it differently. It comes with a matching bolero but it was so warm out that I did not wear it. The amazing glasses are by LindsayLoweEyewear in the USA. They glow in the dark!!!!

This is one of the dresses I bought from Simply Be on the Doncaster Rad Fat Shopping Trip a few weeks ago. It was £20 and is a size 20 but I can squeeze my boobs in and like the thick knit fabric and heavy feel to it. It has an exposed zip at the back which I hate but figured I would be wearing it with a cardi mostly for the next few winter months.

This is what happens when I ask my boyfriend to be photographer. Not the best photos but he was in the middle of playing a computer game so I didn't really have his full attention. Anyways this outfit is pretty rockin! I wore it to the Plus Sized Clothes Swap in Sheffield on Saturday. The cardi is an oldy from New Look. There are loads of eyelash knits around this winter in stores. The dress is New Look Inspire via ASOS and my first coloured leopard print and I am loving it!. The dress is a super stretchy thin cotton fabric. I am in love with all things Halloween and have my pumpkins out all year round.







This beautiful necklace is by Charcoal Designs. I have a few pieces from designer Laura and love them to bits. I actually won this necklace and earrings to match on Instagram!

This post is thanks to the beautiful talented sexy Miss Faye Daniels. I sent her a little care package a while back and a necklace more recently. All things I saw and thought of her. Her photos, tattoos and love of art and pooches have long been a joy for me to see and follow. Faye sent me this beautiful ASOS dress as a thank you. I have only bought one dress from ASOS before and had to send it back because it was a bodycon dress but cut strange and did not fit my shape.

This is a size 26 and fits perfect. It has an elasticated waist so has some stretch and is a longer length so no leggings or tights required. The mesh type neckline gives a a peek-a-boo effect without showing too much. I love the print. I am a cherries fan and this is a more sophisticated style than the usual vintage tattoo print I would normally see in dresses. I kept this outfit simple with a bow belt and bolero. I feel very Pin Up in this dress much like the lady herself who gifted it to me.  

I have met so many amazing people through blogs and wish I could meet them all in person. Some are closer than others. I have been inspired by these people and have gained confidence from their words, photos and experiences and want to thank them all for their support and helping me become the woman I am today.

I am a huge lover of The Body Shop Body Butter especially the coconut one. There were a few flavours on offer at £6 reduced from £12.50. I love cherry and so opted for this one. They are a great size and last ages. I use on face, body and feet and smell delicious all day.


I have been getting sore feet from the flats I wear most of the time so got these insoles from New Look for £2.99 to add a bit of padding and hopefully solve my foot aches.


While in New Look I found this Polka dot waterfall blouse/cardi on sale. Not my size but in this style you can get away with sizing up or down a couple sizes. To be seen in future OOTD


I also got this very colourful flower print skirt and for £6 you can't really go wrong.

I am in the mood for summer and sunshine! I got this sun dress last year at Tesco for about £5 in a sale. It has little bows on it. (see how I previously styled it here) I have teamed it with old patent Clarks wedges and Matalan Belt £4.

Now for the New stuff! I was at Asda with the Mr and had seen this Cherry bag a month ago and stupid me did not buy it! It is £12 and a bargain at twice the price! When I saw they still had it I made a little squeeeee noise and Mr picked it up and put it in the shopping trolly. He is good to me!

I also got this lovely Cardi/Bolero for £7. I would normally go for red or blue but when I saw yellow I thought it would go with a lot of things in my wardrobe. I tend to stay away from white as I spill stuff down me all the time so yellow is nice alternative. As we were going through the checkout I spotted the hair clips 2 for £2.50.
