I have not shopped with Evans in quite some time but I bought some leggings and a dress recently and was very impressed with the shape and cut of the dress. They actually use fat models to fit the clothes they make not just size up from a smaller size like some brands!


This Winter has been all about the leopard print again and I am a happy lady. I saw this dress on the website and fell in love. I ordered the size 28 and it fits my bust great. The neck could do with being a little smaller but the sleeves are great.


I wore grey Snag tights with it and used the fabric belt from the dress as a tie with pin to look smart. The glasses are Red Or Dead and were available from Specsavers years ago and I missed out. I have been on the hunt for a pair ever since and found these at Retro Spectacle.

How gorgeous is this dress!! This is another STAR by Scarlett & Jo and I warned you I wanted all the velvets and they will be mine! This green is stunning and the cut is very similar to the fishtail version I blogged about HERE but this has the straight maxi and sexy split. It is a little longer on me but I am wearing flat shoes.

This styling was inspired by what I imagine Santa's rebel daughter to wear. Leopard print is always a winner for me and to put it with this green just felt so right. I could have went with gold or black but I wanted something a little different and think it works quite well.

The velvet used for the these dresses is super soft and lovely to feel. There is a lining on the this dress that stops just below the bum so as not to be seen at the split. The sweetheart neckline is a favourite of mine thanks to Scarlett & Jo and it works so well on large and small busts. I was looking through the newly added items in the Pus section on Everything5Pounds and saw this cute cardi and dress I love the crochet collar on the dress and that it had short sleeves. It has been washed and came out great. The cardi was available in quite a few colours but the larger sizes left me with this mustard colour which I really like and goes great with the dress. The sleeves on the cardi are very long but this might be fixed with a wash and tumble dry. I just pushed them up today they were not an issue.

The leopard shoes are from Evans and are sooo damn cute! I wore them out today and have 4 blisters. Socked and plasters will be worn until I break them in. This is quite a casual outfit for me. Comfy and warm for a Sunday with the family.

Strange name for a blog post I know but I recently had to purchase a black dress to wear to a funeral when I realised all my clothes are unsuitable for such a sad day. I ordered 2 dresses from Asos curve and chose this one to wear on the day but kept the other as I loved it and will blog about it later. As is always the case when it comes to swing dresses from Asos I sized down. This time to a 22 and could probably have gone with a 20.

I wore this dress minus the collar to the funeral and felt pretty smart and comfortable. I didn't want to just keep this dress for funerals so have added the collar and my Clarks Leopard Brogues and a Leopard belt to jazz it up a little. I love this look and always a fan of black and white this shall be worn many times.

Franklin makes his debut on the blog today in his lovely Spider Man onesie. He is doing well with his oxygen and should hopefully be off it by the end of this month. Keep your fingers crossed! He has had a lot of problems with heartburn and had a urine infection which hindered his growth and has him not taking bottles as he knows they cause him pain. He is back on track and growing well and we just need to get him back on bottles!

I have not been 100% the last couple weeks and blogging has been slow so when Kieron from Barratts and The Totality Blog asked for people to review some shoes I jumped at the chance. I am so craving sun and summer and decided to dress for the sun to lift my mood. Hence the colour and hawaii print skirt. I got this Denim jacket yesterday at New Look Inspire and was surprised how well it fit! Sleeves length is perfect on me.


Now for the SHOOOEEES! They arrived super fast and was surprised how light they are. Like walking in air. The soles is a bright red and I just love that detail. They are wide enough for my fat feet and are slightly longer because of the almond shape. The upper is like a waterproof coat feel. It  has a slight sheen and seems like it could be wiped clean pretty easy. They are a great buy and totally worth the price with discount. The are also very comfortable and I have not had any problem with blisters. YAY!!
