Here are some of my favourite items I was lucky enough to get for Christmas from my gorgeous handsome fella. He is good to me. We have more presents to open when we get back to Sheffield on Friday :)

Happy Christmas to you all! I hope Santa was good to you and that you are stuffed full of sweets and Turkey. Just a quick post of Photos of the day and what I wore. Myself and the fella cooked this year for my family and it was his first Christmas away from his family. I am so blessed to have such a loving and lovely man in my life and look forward to many more shared with him and our families. I have made so many new friends this year and have a really great supportive group of ladies that I love and cherish dearly. You know who you are! Love to you all and stay safe xxx

I have an internet friend from Canada who goes by the name of Lachrimaestro and he does beautiful drawings about his daily life and things from his past and even sometimes does requests. He shares his art on tumblr and this is where I first came across him a few years ago.



We have exchanged Cards and letters and small gifts and this year along with a lovely Christmas card he sent these amazing drawings of my boyfriend and myself. He knows how much I love miniature things and over sized things that he made these small for me. I am on the look out for nice frames to hang them up.



I wanted to share with you some of my favourite pieces from his vast archive of tumblr art. If you have a tumblr then go follow him. He is an awesome fellow with an great beard, kind heart and awesome wood carving skills. Enough said!

Nail art is such a big thing now and yet I struggle to paint my nails without smudging them. I have not been very adventurous with my nails but have been very much inspired by my friend Alex from  Tecnicolornails

I tent to buy cheap nail varnis and hove found George at ASDA to be very hard wearing with a great range of colours and very cheap!

Glitter has not been part of my nail wardrobe since I was 15 years old but I saw this in the Pound Shop for £1 obviously and thought it looked quite festive. I am glad I tried it and will be wearing it over the Christmas period over a red or blue base. It is not a brand I have heard of but for £1 I can't complain about it at all.




I also picked up these stripped nail wraps/stickers. I have seen lots of these in Boots and Superdrug but for £4= and was wary of trying them for fear of messing up. For a £1 I thought I would try it and found it to be super easy. I even stuck one on a little squint and pulled it off to try again without a problem. I am on my second day of wearing them and they don't seem like they are going to peel off any day soon so I am very impressed and will be on the look out for more designs to try out.


Plus they matched my glasses! Just goes to show that you don't have to spend a fortune to have cute nail art. Have you tried these? What brands do you like?

Hello dear readers! I want to firstly thank you all for visiting my little space on the internets and wish you all a fabulous Festive period and Happy New Year!

Now on to the outfit. I got this little number on ebay a few months ago and ave been keeping it for something festive. I decided it was perfect for a Christmas Party my friend Rebecca was having at the weekend. I got it for about £7 plus postage and it is from South in a size 26. I felt a little large on me but I need the extra room for sitting as it does not have any stretch to it. It is my first sequin outfit in many many years but I have to say I love it!

Being such a statement dress I kept the rest of the outfit simple with just black leggings and boots. Because of all the sequins I was unable to wear a belt. No heels as I had a bit of walking to do from the train station. The party as great fun and I got to meet some new people and there were lots of fat ladies there which always pleases me.
