This is the first of my Scarlett & Jo pieces I bought from their New website. If you have not checked it out please do as it is like no other Plus Size website ai have ever seen! The fact that they have photographed ladies of ALL SIZES and HEIGHTS and SHAPES to show how their pieces will look on you is fantastic! They also include video of the ladies doing a twirl and tell you how tall and what size they are wearing to take the guess work out of ordering. I find Scarlett & Jo sizing to be spot on! I have bought all 26 in the new range and it fits perfectly.

I have a few pieces by Bete Noire including my custom red double heart necklace that says "Frankie Baby" and I had thought about getting a Goonies inspired necklace for some time. I sent Bete a few reference pictures and came up with this idea. I have to say it turned out even more awesome than I thought it could be! The first heart based on the design of Chunks Hawaiian shirt, the second with the treasure map detail. The Copper Bones Skull Key on the bottom and a pearl necklace like the one Mouth hides in his mouth but Mama Fratelli finds and pulls out.

My last post was a Joe Browns dress that I had nothing but great things to say about it and guess what! This one is too! I am now a firm fan of this brands new vintage style and print dresses. I want them all!

I was lucky enough to be given this beautiful Perfect Pear print dress from Simply Be to review. It has a great vintage look. I Especially liked the pearl detail of the buttons and round collar neck. It is a thick shirt material with stretch which I love as it is thick enough not to need ironed and comfortable because of the stretch. It is actually my favourite material for these type of occasion dresses.  It is a quality garment which will last years and never go out of style due to it's vintage look. I got the size 26 which is a perfect fit for me. As with all dresses they appear longer on me as I am only 5'3'' It is available in sizes 14-32.

I wore this on my Spa trip last weekend for evening meal and cocktails. It got many a compliment! I wore it with my New Look Watermelon clutch to be extra fruity! It was rather dark in the room so my photos are not great and even did some at home and light was again an issue! You can see the drawing detail and pearl buttons of the dress in my last photo. I remember seeing this dress in Evans years ago before I had the confidence to wear such an in your face item. I admired it but it was never an option to actually purchase. I then saw it on ebay a year ago but did not meet the reserve price so it went unsold. Then last month I saw the seller relist it with starting bid of 99p!!! I watched and bid last minute and won it for the bargain price of £16
 plus £3p&p. I was well chuffed to say the least. Then the wait for it to arrive and my dreams dashed with the size 24 not fitting my body but as you can see it is made for my fat body! it has a little stretch in it which makes it comfortable too. When I saw these glasses on ASOS I almost cried as they are stunning and as you probably know by now I am a complete glasses freak! I ordered the last pair but they have since restocked a small number.
