If you didn't already know that I love all things Halloween.....you do now! I got this lightweight jumper from Simply Be and it is super oversized. I ended up keeping the size 24/26.


I bought this leopard skirt in the New Look sale and it is a thick knit material so is quite cozy.


I am 5'3 and a size 26 bottom 28 top so on the Snag size Chart the tights I ordered is F and they are a perfect fit for me. Check the chart before you order and no need to size up as they are super stretchy. Seriously the best tights EVER. I prefer the thicker ones that are 80 D

I was in Birmingham with my Bestie for a girls night of shopping and good food and that is exactly what we got! I have been to Birmingham twice before but did not make the most of my day trips. We had booked a hotel a couple of minutes walk from the Bullring Shopping Mall and booked a table in The Botanist for our evening meal.

We shopped until we dropped with a pit stop to Selfridges for cake. We had a little rest before getting ready for our evening meal.

I wore my new Scarlett & Jo Stripe dress which has a pussy bow neckline and cuffed sleeves. The dress comes with a thick stretchy black belt but I wore on old red one to tie in with my new ebay bargain cheapo Lips earrings and bag.

The dress is a thick supersoft stretchy fabric and feels lovely on. It is so easy to wear and love how all the lines line up on the shoulders and the seams on the skirt. It is a small detail that makes all the difference to a stripe dress. The waist has a thin and comfortable elastic to it so you could wear it without a belt and it would keep the shape.

You can also get the same dress in a reverse colourway of white with black stripes. Scarlett & Jo are my favourites for offering more than one option in the same style.

If you have not been to The Botanist or have one near you please try it! The cocktails are to die for and the food is the best I have tried. We only ordered a little selection board and a couple of side but couldn't finish it all. The food is very seasoned with salt and pepper so if you are not a fan of that maybe give it a miss.

Nobody has ever called me understated and if this outfit doesn't get some looks then there is something wrong! I love a pumpkin tshirt and this one is from Asda George Mens section in a xxxl and cost £5. The bow is also from Asda and I picked it up in the Halloween isle.

I got these Bat glasses from a friend and had them reglazed with my prescription for £10 so I can wear them and actually see. You can buy the glasses from ebay and for all your reglazing needs I highly recommend Specs-by-post.com

I picked up this bag from ebay. The seller had a few different designs and colour bags and they glow in the dark. I got black and orange versions and will use them all year round.

Finally it is October the month of Halloween or the two and a bit months of Halloween before Christmas in our house! I have a few old Halloween inspired outfits that I have blogged before but will be styling again this month and also some new pieces like this spooktactular swing dress from Topsy Curvy.

I saw Topsy Curvy had a few Skater dress/top Halloween and Christmas inspired styles at The Curve Fashion Festival (get your ticket for next year now! I have bought mine!)and ordered this one although there are more I might still buy! I ordered the 26/28 and I am usually that size and in this dress I needed it for the bust. It is not a HighLow dress but looks like it on me as my large bust brings it up at the front as does the belt bringing it in at the waist. I am 5'3'' for length reference. The fabric has some stretch but the material is white and printed onto it so lots of stretching and you see the white. Your usual size should be fine as it is a swing style so the hips and bum will fit most.

For £20 plus postage this is a great little novelty dress. I will be wearing this a lot this month and the long sleeves are perfect for the cooler weather. Topsy Curvy have a great selection of prints so there will be something for everyone but really your problem will be wanting them all!

You have probably noticed I am someone who wears a much black of plain clothes but I do love a good Wednesday Addams dress and this old Scarlett & Jo Bead Collar dress is perfection. I am wearing a size 26 but could easily have sized down to a 24. Sadly it is no longer available but keep an eye on ebay for one.

I have been wanting this Sourpuss bag for a while but it sold out fast. When I saw it was back in stock I ordered it super fast from Beadasaurus. It has since sold out again but hopefully it will be back soon. I am really pleased with the quality and the shoulder straps are just long enough to fit over my fat arms even with my coat on. I hate when bag straps are too small. It only takes and extra inch or two to make a difference!

These shoes were from Everything5Pounds a while ago and they are very comfortable. It is always worth checking them out for plus size clothes too.

My outfit would not be complete without a pair of glassesporn and these are by LindseyLoweEyewear. They are from the USA and are printed with glow in the dark Spirit Board Letter. These glasses are pretty unique and always make an impression. The website is down just now but should be back soon.

I just realised nothing from this outfit is available to buy at the moment but hopefully it inspires you with my spooky styling!

I was looking through the newly added items in the Pus section on Everything5Pounds and saw this cute cardi and dress I love the crochet collar on the dress and that it had short sleeves. It has been washed and came out great. The cardi was available in quite a few colours but the larger sizes left me with this mustard colour which I really like and goes great with the dress. The sleeves on the cardi are very long but this might be fixed with a wash and tumble dry. I just pushed them up today they were not an issue.

The leopard shoes are from Evans and are sooo damn cute! I wore them out today and have 4 blisters. Socked and plasters will be worn until I break them in. This is quite a casual outfit for me. Comfy and warm for a Sunday with the family.
